Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and adherence to specifications
- Make adjustments to machine settings as necessary to maintain product quality
- Inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, bore gauges, and calipers
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during production
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role
- Proficient in operating Fanuc-controlled CNC machines
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining principles
- Familiarity with CAD software, such as SolidWorks, for reading and interpreting blueprints
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers and bore gauges, to ensure accuracy of finished products
- Experience operating power tools and other equipment commonly used in machining processes
- Forklift certification is a plus
