CNC Machinist Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machines, programming, and mechanical assembly. This role requires precision and attention to detail to produce high-quality components that meet stringent specifications. The CNC Machinist will work with various materials and be responsible for fabricating and assembling parts using advanced machinery.
We will train and mentor a suitable candidate in 1st year or higher.
Responsibilities
•Operate CNC lathes and milling machines, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
•Program CNC machines using Mazatrol or similar software to create precise parts.
•Fabricate components based on technical drawings and specifications.
•Assemble finished products, ensuring all parts fit together correctly and function as intended.
•Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
•Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machinery or production processes.
•Collaborate with engineering teams to improve manufacturing processes and product designs.
•Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
•Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing setting.
•Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
•Proficiency in programming CNC machines, particularly using Mazatrol.
•Experience with welding, fabrication, and assembly of mechanical components is preferred.
•Familiarity with SolidWorks or other CAD software is a plus.
•Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently is desirable.
•Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
•Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
