Visser Precision is a dynamic and innovative leader in advanced manufacturing services, dedicated to solving some of the world's most challenging engineering problems. The challenges we face are great, the problems complex, and the solutions often uncharted — but that’s where true innovation begins.
We seek individuals who are energized by adversity, who excel under pressure, and who are driven by a desire to achieve excellence in their craft. This is more than a job — it’s an invitation to be part of something extraordinary. Join us in pushing the boundaries of precision manufacturing and leaving your mark on the solutions to the world’s toughest engineering problems.
We are hiring a Senior CNC Machinist to join our elite manufacturing team. This role is for a highly skilled machinist with deep experience, precision craftsmanship, and the ability to lead by example. As a senior member of the shop floor, you will take on our most demanding projects, solve complex challenges, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. You’ll work closely with engineers, programmers, and fellow machinists to produce mission-critical parts to exact standards. This is not a programming role, but programming experience is a plus and there may occasionally be opportunities to assist with programming tasks.
Success in this position requires precision, discipline, resourcefulness, and a proactive mindset.
If you’re ready to leave your mark on high-stakes manufacturing and contribute to solving some of the toughest engineering challenges, we want you on our team.

· Support and mentor less experienced machinists, sharing best practices and offering technical guidance to elevate team performance.
· Independently troubleshoot complex setups, ambiguous instructions, or unclear drawings. Proactively find solutions that keep projects moving.
· Read and interpret complex technical drawings, set-up sheets, and GD&T requirements. Verify dimensions using precision measuring tools and ensure compliance with Visser’s stringent quality standards.
· Identify opportunities to improve machining processes, reduce cycle times, and enhance overall shop productivity.
· Perform routine machine maintenance, maintain a clean work environment, and adhere to all safety and quality protocols.
