If you have a keen eye for detail, strong machining expertise, and experience with one-off parts, prototyping, and Mastercam programming, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
•Set up, operate, and maintain CNC vertical milling machines to produce precision components.
•Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate machining.
•Select and install appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for each job.
•Perform precision machining operations while maintaining tight tolerances.
•Work on one-off parts and prototype development, ensuring high accuracy and quality.
•Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other measuring instruments.
•Conduct routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues as needed.
•Follow all safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
•Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and quality control teams to optimize production efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience:
•High school diploma or equivalent (technical/vocational training preferred).
•15+ years of experience in CNC machining, with expertise in Mastercam programming.
•Experience working with one-off parts and prototyping.
Technical Skills:
•Proficiency in operating CNC vertical milling machines.
•Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and GD&T specifications.
•Experience with precision measuring instruments.
•Strong understanding of geometry, trigonometry, and machining calculations.
Additional Requirements:
•Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
•Familiarity with OSHA regulations and machine shop safety protocols.
Preferred Certifications:
•CNC Machinist Certification.
