CNC Machinist

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

- Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments

- Interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces

- Monitor machine operations to ensure accuracy, quality, and efficiency

- Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines or workpieces as needed

- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes

Experience:

- Minimum 3 years experience as a machinist

- Proficiency in using calipers, precision measuring instruments, power tools, and hand tools

- Familiarity with CNC programming and operation

- Knowledge of tooling selection and setup for various machining operations

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications

- Experience operating CNC mills, 5 axis mills, and live tooling lathes

- Strong mathematical skills for performing basic calculations
