Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming and machining, with the ability to work with various materials and precision instruments. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints effectively. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for producing high-quality components while adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines and lathes to produce precision parts.
- Program CNC machines using G-code and CAM software.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate machining.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to verify dimensions.
- Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency in production.
- Perform assembly tasks as needed, using hand tools and power tools safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with proficiency in CNC programming (Fanuc preferred).
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
- Familiarity with, CAD software, and Mazatrol is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documents accurately.
- Solid mechanical knowledge with basic math skills for calculations related to machining tasks.
- Experience with tooling, setup, and operation of CNC milling machines and lathes.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.
