CNC Laser Operator - 2nd Shift

Preferred Qualifications

- Setup and operation of laser cutting of various metals

- Ability to clean optics and perform standard maintenance

- Help pull parts as needed while laser runs with ability to lift up to 50 pounds

- Ability and experience setting priorities and meeting deadlines through automated systems

- Ability to work independently, quickly and accurately in an environment with changing/fluctuating priorities

- Must be very detail oriented and thorough with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Action-oriented, customer service-oriented attitude, taking initiative to follow projects and jobs through the production process

- Engaging personality capable of generating and growing meaningful relationships with coworkers and customers

- Ability to perform math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of fractions as well as convert fractions to decimals or vice versa

- Accurately completes inspection reports after inspecting and measuring the material

- Must be able to use hand tools and vibrating hand tools as needed

Preferred Experience

- 1+ years' of actual laser operating experience.

- Strong knowledge of laser cutting system or school trained

- Setup laser cutting of various metal on Mitsubishi lasers

- Experience reading blueprints required

- Associates degree or equivalent, relevant experience preferred

- 2+ years' experience in a metal fabrication/manufacturing environment desirable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

- Day shift

- Monday to Friday

Experience:

- Manufacturing: 2 years (Preferred)

- Blueprint reading: 2 years (Preferred)

- CNC laser cutting: 1 year (Preferred)
