CNC FIBER LASER OPERATOR

JW FABRICATION LLC is a small business in Ault, CO. We are fast-paced, supportive and collaborative.

Looking for a quality candidate that is willing to work weekends and/or split or second shift. Initial training would be first shift however position is for second shift. Please inquire for more details.

Duties:

- Set up and operate CNC fiber laser machine to cut sheet metal products

- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering specifications

- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure accurate dimensions

- Inspect finished products for quality and make adjustments as necessary

- Perform routine maintenance on laser and support equipment

- Use hand tools and tooling to measure, deburr, label and ship finished parts

- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals

Qualifications:

- Previous experience operating CNC laser cutting machines preferred

- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering specifications

- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges

- Ability to use hand tools and tooling effectively

- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections

- Ability to lift heavy objects continuously

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
