The River Birch Chipper operator’s main task during their workday is to operate the Chipper. They may also be tasked with operationg other heavy equipment, such as: dozer, excavator, motor grader, off-road dump truck, road grader, compactor, EPI cover machine, tipper or any other equipment that may be necessary. Chipper operators will be expected to safely complete assignments within acceptable work standards with a minimum amount of supervision.
Safety is an important part of our operation. All employees are required to wear all appropriate personal protective equipment (gloves, safety glasses, steel toe boots, reflective vest).
The hiring department will conduct interviews of qualified individuals prior to requesting a crimial background check, and no job application submitted prior to such interview shall inquire into an applicanats's criminal history. If this position is subject to a background check for any convictions related to its responsibilities and requirements, employment will be contingent upon sucessful completion of a background investigation including criminal history. Criminal history will not automatically disqualify a candidate.
