Job Description:

Job Summary

The Cement Bulk Plant Hand assists with the daily bulk plant operations, monitors yard and performs general housekeeping duties.

Responsibilities

- Assist with daily bulk plant operations

- Operate forklift to scale out products, load hopper, and load or unload pallets (when applicable)

- Monitor yard and perform general housekeeping duties

- Wear full face respirator

- Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies by attending all required HSE training sessions, safety meetings, and always utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

- Additional duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications

- Clear written and verbal communication skills, must be able to read and follow directions in English

- Forklift operator certified preferred

- Knowledge of safe hand tool use

- Personable, able to communicate with teammates and supervisors

- Able to safely perform duties during a 12+ hour work shift that will include days or nights, weekends, holidays, and in extreme weather conditions

- Must be physically able to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, crawl, walk on uneven surfaces, and climb equipment ladders or stairs throughout the work shift

- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods

- Able to lift 50 LBS safely

- Able to lift 25 LBS over your head
