Schedule: This is a Monday-Friday 1st shift schedule

The CAD / CAM Operator is responsible for creating drawings and assemblies for new and existing components and products using computer-aided drafting (CAD) tools such as SolidWorks and Pro-Engineer, relating to machining and manufacturing processes. The job requires the creation of shop drawings, the management of drawings, and updating.

Using CAD software, create new and modify existing 3D models

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Two-year associate degree in machine tool technology and a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a CAD / CAM operator or experience as a toolmaker in a wax or plastics injection mold manufacturing environment. Knowledge and ability to design tools using AutoCAD. Must possess good computer skills and be able to learn new skills as needed. Must be familiar with blueprints and GD&T concepts
