CAD CAM OPERATOR

This is a Monday-Friday 1st shift schedule
JOB PURPOSE AND REPORTING STRUCTURE:
Under the direction of the Tooling Manager, the CAD / CAM Operator is responsible creating drawings and assemblies for new and existing components and products using computerized aided drafting (CAD) tools such as SolidWorks and Pro-Engineer relating to machining and manufacturing processes. The job requires creation of shop drawings, management of drawings, and updating.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Two-year associate degree in machine tool technology and a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a CAD / CAM operator or experience as a toolmaker in wax or plastics injection mold manufacturing environment. Knowledge and ability to design tools using auto cad. Must possess good computer skills and be able to learn new skills as needed. Must be familiar with blueprints and GD&T concepts
