Job description:

Powder River, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of livestock handling equipment. We are looking for someone to take on the role of CAD / Cam Technician. Candidates should be self-motivated, have a desire to learn, and take on new challenges.

Job Responsibilities

Create and improve inventor CAD models and drawing

Use the MRP/ERP System as needed

Make CNC machine files for the lasers and press brakes using Boost, Tube Design, and Programming Tube software

Learn to make nest files for lasers as needed (Tube laser and Flat laser)

Work closely with machine operators on needed machine file and part drawing changes

Create Engineering Change Orders and follow them through approval and release process

Work closely with R&D Department to create paper space /drawings

Miscellaneous assigned tasks as needed

Salary: From $18.00-$21.00 per hour, DOE

Qualifications

· 1 year CAD experience (preferred)

· 1 year laser and press brake experience (preferred)

· Detail oriented

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Must be able to work from seated and standing positions as needed

· Lift 50lbs on occasion
