Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Cabinet Finisher with a strong background in applying waterborne paints and stains. The ideal candidate takes pride in precision work, has a keen eye for detail, and can consistently produce high-quality finishes in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

•

Prepare wood surfaces for finishing (sanding, cleaning, masking, etc.)

•

Mix and apply waterborne stains, paints, and topcoats

•

Operate spray equipment including HVLP and air-assisted systems

•

Maintain consistency in color and sheen across multiple pieces

•

Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company quality standards

•

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

•

Follow all safety and handling procedures for finishing materials

Qualifications:

•

Minimum 2 years of experience in cabinet or wood finishing

•

Proficiency with waterborne finishing systems is required

•

Strong knowledge of wood species, grain behavior, and finishing prep

•

Ability to read job specifications and finish samples

•

Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused

•

Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs

Preferred:

•

Experience in custom or high-end cabinetry finishing

•

Familiarity with color matching and custom tinting
