Finisher/Sprayer - Woodwork/Cabinetry

USAM DC is a leading manufacturer of architectural woodworking and custom cabinetry products, serving the DC commercial construction industry. We are seeking a Finisher to join our growing team! We offer a great working environment and room for career advancement. Overtime is required depending on work load. Responsibilities: Responsible for the finishing on the completed product per the customer’s specifications. Apply finish/paint efficiently while maintaining quality standards by hand or using a spray gun. Responsible for preparing work to enter the finishing area and/or sands between coats of finish. Maintain clean work area by sweeping and setting tools and items in their place. Detail oriented catching any flaws before product leaves the shop. Knowledge of mixing colors Ensures quality of finish Requirements: Minimum of 2 years experience in millwork and finishing Skilled use of paints Experience working in an AWI custom shop USAM DC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and we are committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
