Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Purchasing Manager, the Buyer helps ensure that products are available when and where they are needed. Sources and evaluates products to achieve cost optimization and supply chain efficiency. Supports the achievement of KPIs including supplier quality, cost reductions, on-time delivery as well as control of the overall inventory levels.

Vesco also promotes sustainable practices and recycling, including collecting and recycling more than 3,000,000 gallons of used oil annually, collecting and reclaiming nearly 200,000 gallons of used antifreeze each year, processing and recovering over 1,000,000 pounds of steel from used oil filter scrap, and keeping nearly 250,000 gallons of hazardous waste out of landfills through collection and reclamation.
