Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Alvarado, TX for a Buyer at Sabre Industries, Inc. The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing and procuring materials, maintaining relationships with vendors, and negotiating pricing and contracts to ensure the company obtains the best value for goods and services. Additional responsibilities include tracking inventory levels, evaluating supplier performance, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, and collaborating with internal teams to meet operational requirements.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of sourcing, procurement, and vendor management

- Skills in negotiation, contract management, and cost analysis

- Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail

- Proficiency in ERP systems and other procurement tools

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

- Prior experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management

- Knowledge of the utility and telecom industries is a plus

- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is preferred
