Busy Metal Fabrication shop looking for Office help

A small blacksmith/metal fabrication shop with a friendly casual environment is looking for assistance. Our company specializes in creating highly custom metalwork for discerning clients. This is an environment where your input is valued. Prefer full time but will offer flexibility as needed for the right person. Knowledge of building and how things are made is a plus.

Duties include creating and breaking out Auto Cad drawings for shop use and submittals, assisting with estimates and take offs, client correspondence, sourcing materials and running errands. Ideal position for someone that needs flexibility, who loves working in the trades but desires a less stressful environment or a recent graduate in a related field looking to gain further experience.

Must have experience with Auto Cad, Excel, and Word, be organized and detail orientated, have experience or education in construction, metal fabrication or a related field. 3D drawing experience is a plus.

Pay depends upon experience generally $22-34/hour, paid holidays, vacation, and sick days, 401K

Hours are Monday-Friday 8-4:30

Shop is located in Western Suffolk county
