The Safety Services Business Development Manager is responsible for generating new business, expanding existing client relationships, and identifying opportunities for our safety-related services. This role combines strategic sales, consultative solution building, and industry engagement. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of safety services or industrial markets and excels at developing trust with operational and executive-level stakeholders.
Location: Houston area, This role is centered in the Gulf Coast region but includes the opportunity to travel anywhere in the U.S. to support customer relationships.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow safety service offerings in targeted industries and regions.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, cold outreach, and relationship building.
- Meet with clients to assess safety needs and recommend tailored service solutions (e.g., Rescue Services, Safety Attendants, Safety Advisors, Digital Confined Space Monitoring, Safety Rentals & Breathing Air).
- Manage the full sales cycle—from lead generation through proposal development, pricing, negotiation, and contract execution.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline and achieve annual revenue targets.
- Collaborate with operations and safety teams to ensure seamless project launch, staffing, and service delivery.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
- Maintain accurate CRM documentation on all activities, opportunities, and client interactions.
- Provide market insights, competitor analysis, and client feedback to support strategic planning.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Safety Management, Industrial Management, or related field (preferred).
- 3–7+ years of sales or business development experience, ideally within safety services, industrial staffing, EHS consulting, construction, or related sectors.- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations, workplace safety programs, or EHS services (preferred but not required).
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build credibility and trust with both field personnel and senior leadership.
- Self-motivated, goal-driven, and comfortable with autonomy.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
