We are currently looking for a Product & Business Development Manager. This position will be based in Oklahoma City and you will be required to live in Oklahoma City area. This position will support all Hampel Oil Distributors facilities.
Purpose of Position:
The Product and Business Development Manager is responsible for supporting the sales and operations teams in a manner that ensures the maximum profitability and continued growth for the company. Working with both teams the Product and Business Development Manager will provide support in the technical sales process, product recommendations, management of our chemical offerings, creating and managing product lines, and analyzing and communicating oil & chemical analysis reports. This role will also support a variety of lubricant and chemical fluid brands and will need to work with representatives of each brand to achieve the goals that are established each year.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Initiate product recommendations and provide cross references for products across all brands and product classes to Customers, Territory Managers, Branch personnel, leadership and others as requested
•Develop product labels, Safety Data Sheets and product data sheets and ensure the materials are effectively utilized. Communicate the status and availability of these materials to all affected stakeholders.
•Support the development of marketing literature to include writing and editing content to ensure the accuracy of the content.
•Provide field support of customers to include, but not limited to, equipment inspections, filtration services, plant surveys, on site fluid and oil analysis, failure analysis.
•Develop new products as needed based on customer or Hampel personnel requests.
•Interpret oil and chemical analysis results from various 3rd party labs for customers, TM’s, branch personnel, etc.

Requirements:
•Bachelor Degree in science, preferably in chemistry or chemical engineering, required
•Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers (STLE) Certification of Certified Lubrication Specialist (CLS) and/or Oil Monitoring Analyst-Level 1 (OMA-1) is a benefit
•Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the chemical or lubricants market in a role that supports the overall sales process
•Candidates with experience in midstream natural gas and compression, or with chemical products such as coolants, dehydration fluids, and amines, will be well positioned for success
•Must live in Oklahoma City area
