We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Oil and Gas Business Development Manager to join our sales team in the Permian. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in completions and/or production, technical sales, and be skilled in communicating effectively both in the office and in the field. The BD Manager will be responsible for managing existing accounts and developing new business opportunities.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts by identifying new business opportunities and negotiating contracts.
- Utilize Salesforce to track and analyze sales performance, and provide insights to improve sales strategies.
- Conduct warm calls to introduce new products or services to clients and identify potential sales opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with clients through exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure alignment of sales efforts with business objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior sales team members.
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
- Proven track record in account management, sales, or a related field.
- Experience with technical sales and the ability to understand complex products and services in completions or production facilities.
- Ability to bring in existing clients.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or similar sales management tools.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
- Experience in a sales role with a focus on account management.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
