The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Develop new business prospects, monitor competitor activities, and provide data to Corporate Sales Director and district operations management.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, partners, and other stakeholders.
- Track sales progress and market performance to ensure goals are met and adapt strategies as needed.
- Promote company capabilities and reputation through customer field visits, services demonstrations, presentations, and sales literature.
- Develop deep knowledge and understanding of customer requirements and service needs.
- Work with commercial teams on negotiation and close out contracts at profitable margins as needed, including coordination with operations teams.
- Communicate with operations teams on new service and packaging ideas and status of service crew capabilities.
- Translate learnings from close out feedback to improvements in future capabilities.
- Process customer quotes and order requests and communicate with appropriate departments, sales, operations, finance.
- Ability to work independently and work together as a member of the corporate sales team.- 5+ years in sales and marketing and business development; preferably in oil and gas well-servicing sales.
- Proven sales and market share development across completions related oil field service lines.
- Comprehensive, specialized technical knowledge of company's products and services, customer requirements and competitive market.
- Excellent communication, marketing and negotiating skills.
- Extensive understanding of customer requirements and market conditions
- Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), including experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or sales management database systems.
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow with proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
- Ability to travel frequently.
