Business Development Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives and expand our presence in the structural steel industry. This role will focus on building long-term client relationships, identifying new market opportunities, and driving revenue growth through strategic business development.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the structural steel market.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, engineers, architects, and developers.

- Collaborate with estimating and project management teams to develop competitive proposals.

- Represent NAFCO at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.

- Track market trends, competitor activities, and project pipelines to inform strategy.

- Develop and execute a structured sales and marketing plan to achieve growth targets.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).

- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management in the construction or structural steel industry.

- Strong knowledge of construction processes, steel fabrication, and erection.

- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
