Business Admin Intern

At the South-Central Connecticut Regional Water Authority (RWA), we provide more than just water—we deliver life-sustaining resources to nearly 430,000 consumers every day. 1. Reviewing existing SOPs to identify outdated, duplicative, or unclear processes

2. Partnering with subject matter experts to document current-state workflows

3. Updating SOPs to reflect current systems, policies, and best practices

4. Organizing SOPs into a consistent, user-friendly format for staff reference

5. Assisting with version control and documentation standards for future updates

6. As part of the internship, the intern will complete a capstone project highlighting their work in SOP improvements and operational enhancements. The project will conclude with a presentation to leadership outlining key findings, updates made, and recommendations moving forward.

- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Communications, Public Administration, Marketing, or related field.

- Strong writing, organizational, and analytical skills

- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

- Interest in customer operations, workforce management, and cross-functional collaboration

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
