Energy Trust provides a range of work location options, including remote, hybrid and in-office work. This position will represent Energy Trust in public settings and potentially at community events. We are open to candidates who live throughout Oregon and Washington. The Brand Marketing Specialist would be expected to report to the office on a quarterly basis, at minimum.
The Brand Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing, managing and delivering Energy Trust brand marketing products in support of organizational marketing goals and enhancing brand recognition and trust among the customers and communities we serve.
The person in this position will be a skilled writer and copy editor with experience managing a variety of marketing projects, tasks, and deadlines, including synthesizing technical and complex content into communications for a variety of audiences while ensuring consistent alignment with brand standards and business objectives. They will have excellent critical thinking, judgement, and problem-solving skills. They will thrive in a fast-paced work environment and be able to juggle multiple competing priorities while prioritizing project deliverables.
The person in this role will be responsible for managing brand marketing and communications resources and services delivered by the Communications and Customer Service (CCS) group. The individual in this position supports Energy Trust marketing and communications initiatives and brand content for public relations, blogs, outreach, and web. This individual will help develop the strategy for and own the execution of brand social media, producing monthly and quarterly reporting, and participating in cross-functional social media meetings to ensure alignment across the organization.
The Brand Marketing Specialist works closely with staff and contractors in marketing, communications, customer service, programs, and other business units to reach and serve customers and stakeholders through online and social media, advertising, and outreach activities.
Attention to detail, the ability to work independently and commitment to quality are required. This individual will work as a team with the Sr. Brand Marketing Specialist, Brand Manager, Communications Team, Web Team, and Energy Program marketing staff. This individual reports to the Brand Manager.
This position is expected to report to the Portland office quarterly at a minimum for all staff and other in-person meetings.
