FIND WUNDER is looking for a Brand Development Specialist located in or near the Savannah, GA area, but can help launch other markets during new distributor partnerships across the country.
We are looking for a qualified Brand Development Specialist to join our sales team and help us achieve our goals. You should enjoy/thrive in a start-up environment, as we are in a rapid growth phase where being a self-starter is vital for success. As we scale the company, there will be room for growth and room to take on additional responsibilities with success in this role. We are a small and dynamic team, and finding the right cultural fit for our team is vital for our expansion plans this year.
The BDS will be responsible for day-to-day on-the-ground sales and marketing operations in the Southeast Georgia region. You will be tasked with fostering and maintaining relationships, establishing new accounts, promoting FIND WUNDER products, and being an ambassador of the brand. A successful BDS will have attention to detail, a welcoming presence, and a passion for creating meaningful relationships, illustrated by implementing strategic partnerships and retailer/consumer engagement initiatives.
You will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth for our products as we expand our distribution footprint across the region. You will be expected to develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers, work closely with our distributor to increase PODs and sales velocity within the market, build strong partnerships with key accounts, and identify new business opportunities to increase sales volume. You will drive our goals in the region - building Consumer and Trade Ambassadors through activations, business development, and training.
Consumer/Retail Trade Interaction - Building Ambassadors 35%
- Conduct/Manage On-Sale activations and events, Off-Premise Samplings, and build Consumer Ambassadors.
- Participate in new product launch events, including profile tastings. The THC industry is meant to be fun!
- Attend industry events within the region, with a focus on retail partnerships in mind.
- Business Development - be the supplier of choice at retail, managing On and Off retail accounts to sell volume, increase distribution, monitor price, and shelf space management
- Selling - Negotiate the terms of an agreement, close the sale, and monitor the delivery/execution of POS and Pricing
- Merchandising - Increase shelf space and position for all FIND WUNDER products, update POS in store, understand retailer margin expectations, and make pricing suggestions.
- Provide support to the sales department as needed / Conduct any other sales or marketing operations by request, including cross-market sales blitzes and major events.
- Work closely with our Distributors in the Savannah to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Work with retailers to secure POS and other merchandising tools to bring visibility to Find Wunder brands.
- Participate in wholesaler district/area/division/general sales meetings to discuss launches, new items, monthly programming, and account opportunities.
- Attend wholesaler sales programming meetings or business reviews to discuss sales issues, competitive activities, and opportunities, and to maximize sales efforts.
- Manage wholesaler information delivery, updating drives and sales reports
- Gather market and customer information and provide feedback on buying trends. We’re a data-driven company.
- Maintain and create KPI goals to track progress and effectively relay data points back to leadership.
- Make daily decisions regarding retail inventory levels, utilizing past sales history and reports.
- Pricing execution, Invoice Approvals
This role will be expected to have extensive travel, up to 30% as we are in a rapid growth phase.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred.
- Previous experience in hemp, cannabis, or B2B beverage sales is preferred.
- Highly motivated self-starter with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Familiarity and aptitude with email, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.
- Detail-oriented and extremely organized.
- A passion for CPG products and/or cannabis products.
- Strong communicator who can provide exceptional customer service and react quickly to identify and solve problems.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be 21+ with a valid driver's license.- Conducting eight (8) 3-hour sampling events with top off-premise accounts per month. Merchandising and building displays at top accounts.
- Grow existing account base and footprint in the territory
- Manage the inventory, booking, and communication of sampling events for all accounts/wholesalers in the area weekly on Tuesdays
- Be the lead for all sponsorships, special events, samplings, and other consumer engagement events that Find Wunder has committed to.
- 120 KARMA Act touches per month - includes events.
- Create Find Wunder Act Activation Playbook and conduct at least 8 on-premise consumer activations per month ($60 act spend)Work Week: Tuesday - Saturday (most weeks, may change based on need)
Compensation: FT Band Range 5 (45k - 55K) Salary + Bonus (20% target) + Mileage
- Contract 4K per month + Bonus opportunity (variable) + Mileage
Car mileage reimbursement - 2025 rate is $.70 per mile
