Brake Press Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating press brake machines and possess a strong understanding of various machining processes. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality and precision of metal fabrication through the operation of CNC machinery and other related equipment.

Responsibilities

- Operate and set up press brake machines to bend and shape aluminum/steel components according to specifications.

- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machine setup and production processes.

- Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure they meet required standards.

- Utilize hand tools, calipers, and measuring instruments for precise measurements during production.

- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.

- Collaborate with team members in assembly processes and other manufacturing tasks as needed.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

- Proficiency in operating press brake machines and CNC equipment.

- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues effectively.

- Familiarity with welding techniques and basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.

- Experience with quality inspection processes to ensure product integrity.

- Ability to operate cranes and forklifts safely within the manufacturing environment.

- Competence in blueprint reading and understanding machining principles.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
