Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating press brake machines and will be responsible for bending and shaping metal sheets to meet precise specifications. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

- Operate press brake machines to bend and form metal sheets according to engineering specifications.

- Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy in dimensions and tolerances.

- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine the appropriate bending processes.

- Perform routine maintenance on press brake equipment to ensure optimal performance.

- Collaborate with team members to assemble components and complete projects efficiently.

- Use laser cutting, plasma cutting, and welding techniques as needed for various projects.

- Operate forklifts and cranes for material handling within the production area.

- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.

- Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.

- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes, including laser cutting and plasma cutting.

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
