Press Brake Operator

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating and maintaining press machines, ensuring efficient production processes.

Duties:

- Set up and operate press machines according to job specifications

- Monitor production output and quality to meet standards

- Perform routine maintenance on press machines

- Inspect finished products for quality control

- Troubleshoot issues with press machines to minimize downtime

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in operating presses, preferably in a manufacturing setting

- Proficiency in programming logic controllers (PLCs) for press operations

- Familiarity with quality control processes and procedures

- Ability to use hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, and milling machines

- Competency in reading blueprints and understanding geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)

- Knowledge of CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines is a plus

Pay: From $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
