Box Truck Driver - CDL Preferred (DOT Required)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Box Truck Delivery Driver to join our team in the Elizabeth, NJ service area. This is a full-time position offering steady hours and competitive pay based on experience. A CDL (Class A or B) is preferred but not required. All applicants must be DOT Medical Certified, DOT physical copy needed upon hire.

Duties:

- Safely operate company vehicles to complete scheduled pickups and deliveries

- Load and unload materials while following proper handling and safety procedures

- Maintain accurate delivery records, including hours worked, account notes, and materials collected

- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and any issues/concerns that arise

- Ensure compliance with company policies and all safety regulations

Requirements:

- CDL Class A or B (not required, highly preferred)

- Clean driving record (MVR)

- DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (REQUIRED)

- Ability to lift 50–60 pounds regularly

- Previous delivery or route driving experience is a plus

- Strong reliability and attention to safety
