This position would report to the Billing Manager and will fill a Monday through Friday schedule. Your role is crucial in supporting the company’s financial operations, ensuring smooth, timely, and accurate billing of key customer accounts.

Job Duties:

- Review completed service job for accuracy and determine appropriate billing details.

- Generate accurate and timely invoices for customers based on job scope and contract terms.

- Identify discrepancies in billing, resolve errors, and ensure correct charges before each submission.

- Communicate and collaborate with internal teams (service, accounting and finance, etc.) to verify job details and clarify billing questions.

- Ensure billing is compliant with customer billing requirements and contractual agreements.

- Maintain organized records, ensure data entry accuracy, and take a positive customer service approach to all tasks.

- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance billing speed and accuracy.

Qualifications:

- 1-3 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and training (e.g., certification, degree).

- Understanding of some billing, invoicing, or accounts receivable concepts.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (intermediate), with basic skills in Excel.

- Strong typing speed (mid to high words per minute) is a plus.

- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.

- Ability to review data critically and resolve discrepancies logically.

- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to think quickly and exercise sound judgment.

- Exceptional data entry accuracy while maintaining a high work speed. A team player who takes direction well, learns from mistakes, and is self-motivated with strong personal accountability. Professionalism and respectful communication are essential for this role.

Compensation & Benefits

- This position is expected to pay between $22-$24 per hour.
