As a Contracts and Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Relationship Management within an assigned category, ensuring the supply plan is optimized across Irving Oil. Your goal will be to drive efficiency, enhance supplier collaboration, and implement sourcing strategies that support business objectives. Your success will be measured by streamlined procurement processes, impactful sourcing strategies, and strong supplier relationships.

Your Responsibilities
•Develop and implement category strategies aligned with business needs
•Lead strategic sourcing initiatives to drive value and cost savings
•Manage supplier contracts, relationships, and performance
•Optimize the P2P process for efficiency and compliance
•Collaborate with stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with business objectives
•Negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and mitigate risks
•Support supplier relationship management and continuous improvement efforts
•Ensure adherence to supply management policies and best practices
•Monitor and resolve supplier performance issues in partnership with business stakeholders

Your Experience
•University Degree in Business or related field of study
