Backend (Nestjs) Engineer

We are looking for a robust Backend (NestJS) Engineer to architect the logic and data systems that power our community and educational tools.

What You’ll Do: ● Design, build, and maintain scalable RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs using NestJS. ● Architect efficient database schemas and manage data integrity (PostgreSQL/NoSQL). ● Implement secure authentication and authorization flows (JWT, OAuth). ● Collaborate with frontend engineers to ensure seamless data integration and API performance.

What We’re Looking For: ● Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and the NestJS framework. ● Experience with ORMs (TypeORM, Prisma) and database design. ● Understanding of microservices architecture, caching strategies (Redis), and cloud infrastructure. ● A startup mindset: adaptable, proactive, and passionate about building from the ground up.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $40.00 - $100.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
