Associate Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications or Computer Science, or two years of combined education and experience (civilian or military technical school covering digital, analog, and communication theory).
- One or more years working with electronics, computers, or telecommunications.
- Class “D” Florida State Drivers license
- FCC General Radio/Telephone Operator License
- Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics, functional diagrams, and assigned work/construction packages.
- Ability to navigate PC (personal computer) programs and software required. Essentially be PC literate.
- Ability to learn state of the art test equipment such as OTDR, FTDR, TIMS, communication service monitors, oscilloscopes, network and data analyzers, specialty test instruments, etc.
- Ability to work in a team environment (strong interpersonal skills, customer service skills, and ability to work with others).
- No physical limitations. Ability to carry required test equipment and tools.
