We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our team. This role supports project execution across solar and HVAC installations, working closely with project managers, permitting teams, subcontractors, and customers to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all Florida regulations.
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and coordinating solar and HVAC installations.
- Schedule inspections, schedule installs, and manage submission of Permission to Operate (PTO) applications with local utility companies.
- Manage project documentation: permits, lien law notices, contracts, inspections, and warranty registrations.
- Communicate with homeowners regarding project status, scheduling, and next steps.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews to ensure timely project progress.
- Track project milestones and update CRM/project management software daily.
- Conduct quality checks and ensure adherence to building codes, safety requirements, and manufacturer standards.
- Support closeout process: final inspections, customer satisfaction, and completion documents.
- Prior experience in solar, HVAC, roofing, or construction project coordination preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Familiarity with permitting, inspections, lien law compliance, and utility PTO processes is a plus.
- Proficiency with project management software, CRMs (HubSpot), and spreadsheets.
