Position: Solar Project Manager

Are you a highly organized and proactive project manager with solar experience? Join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of residential and commercial solar installations from sale to final inspection.

Why This Role Matters

As our Solar Project Manager, you are the critical link between departments—operations, sales, engineering, management, and our customers. Your ability to build and maintain a clear project schedule, anticipate bottlenecks, and drive communication across all teams is essential to delivering a top-tier customer experience and ensuring projects stay on track. You’ll oversee the entire installation timeline, making sure everyone—from internal teams to homeowners to city inspectors—is informed and aligned every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities

Schedule all solar installations and maintain a projected installation calendar across multiple teams and jurisdictions.

Collaborate with engineering, field teams, and sales to ensure a smooth, efficient workflow from permit to PTO.

Communicate clearly and consistently with customers, updating them on progress and managing expectations.

Coordinate with AHJs to submit permit applications and ensure compliance with all city and county requirements.

Schedule and prepare for city inspections, including coordination with inspectors and field crews.

Manage and track all solar interconnection (NEM) processes with local utility companies.

Complete and oversee HOA paperwork and approval processes.

Follow up with all departments on outstanding tasks or documentation to maintain project velocity.

Proactively identify potential delays and implement solutions before they impact timelines.

What You Bring

4+ years of hands-on experience in the solar industry

Strong understanding of NEM processes and local permitting

Familiarity working with HOAs, city planning departments, and county jurisdictions

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively

Tech-savvy: Comfortable with MS Office, Google Suite, DocuSign, Adobe, PandaDocs, CRM tools, and solar mapping/project platforms

Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and a collaborative team player

Schedule & Commitment

Full-Time | Monday–Friday

Must be able to manage multiple project schedules simultaneously and adapt quickly to changing timelines or priorities
