Hunt Electric, Inc. is searching for an Assistant Project Manager to join our team within the Electrical Project Management Team. This full time position has opportunities to learn and expand your knowledge and skill set in estimating and project management on large scale commercial projects.

This Assistant Project Manager position requires self-motivation and self-management with strong interpersonal skills to meet with users in a face-to-face environment. We are looking for someone who can work in a team environment with other employees to assist in the estimating, planning, initiating, and managing of information for various projects. The Assistant Project Manager will assist in planning, initiating, and managing information for various projects. This person will also serve as a liaison between business and technical aspects of projects and monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.

Major Duties:

•

Gathering project information and needs, as well as documenting/recording information.

•

Assist with the submittal of project deliverables, ensuring adherence to quality standards.

•

Communicating with supervisors and peers.

•

Monitor the performance of project team members, providing and documenting performance feedback.

•

Ability for creative, out of the box thinking.

•

Monitor or track project milestones and deliverables.

•

Monitor or track material for projects.

•

Assist with building project schedules.

•

Assist with and monitor purchasing for projects.

•

Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

•

Experience performing administrative activities.

•

General customer and personal service experience.

•

Experience with Microsoft programs.

•

Electrical Experience

•

Construction Experience

•

Desire to potentially advance into a Project Management role

This full-time Assistant Project Manager

receives a competitive salary commensurate with experience and position responsibilities. Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with a typical working schedule of Monday - Thursday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm, Friday, 7:00 am – 2:00 pm.
