Asset Manager - Renewables

- Responsible for the successful operation of the operating portfolio, maximizing portfolio uptime while maintaining OPEX budget

- Maintain a thorough understanding of the project assets, including revenue, interconnection, compliance and maintenance agreements

- Manage and monitor compliance in all contracts and activities

- Responsibility for data monitoring and SCADA systems across fleet

- Track and present key performance indicators, performing data analysis as needed

- Identify and track system performance issues and coordinate resolution with maintenance providers

- O&M management, purchasing, parts planning, inventory tracking, inventory management, project file management, maintenance reporting, and outage summary log

- Process warranty claims with vendors and suppliers as needed

- Prepare periodic asset management reports (including operational and financial performance)

- Identify and implement strategies for fleet optimization

- Setup new projects in DAS system and manage portfolio dashboard reporting system

- Interface with Construction team on upcoming development projects and support transition from construction into operating portfolio

- Interface with land owners, utility and other stakeholders as needed

Qualifications

- A record of academic and professional achievement, well developed communication skills, the ability to collaborate well with a small team, proven organizational acumen working on multiple projects, and a high level of motivation are vital in this role

- Well versed in day to day operations of solar, BESS and hybrid facilities

- Strong background in electrical systems (PV, BESS, substations)

- Working knowledge of ISOs, specifically PJM, CAISO, WECC as well as NERC regulatory requirements for renewables

- Strong background in Ignition based SCADA systems and DAS providers

- Bachelor’s Degree required (Engineering preferred)

- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills

- Detail oriented and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to continuously prioritize effectively

- Prior experience in solar operations and maintenance, performance analytics, or technical asset management
