Perform work as instructed by management: Assembly and Pressure Test Technician is responsible for following procedures for product assembly/fabrication, pressure testing and other equipment operation and safety requirements as documented in the quality system. Is directly responsible for the quality of work performed.
1. perform duties including assembling products, handling products, equipment and materials per the instruction provided and company's quality system procedures
2. read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and reports in order to determine material requirements and assembly instructions
3. position, align, and adjust work pieces to facilitate assembly
4. secure test flanges and fitting to equipment using air powered tools or high torque equipment, and perform pressure testing as required by Tiva's test procedures
5. safely operate automated test bay doors and equipment inside the test bays
6. perform work as directed by management; move material, sweep floors, pressure wash test bays, de-burr parts, pickup trash, mow grounds, empty trash or waste water containers, clean offices and restrooms, etc.
7. keep management informed of any developments impacting the manufacturing operations
8. keep the work area in a neat, orderly, and safe condition
9. has a direct responsibility to the “Assigned Supervisor” to follow verbal or written instruction
10. work with other departments within the organization to achieve high efficiency of the company
11. other administrative tasks as assigned or requested by the department manager/supervisor
1. must be able to understand and carry out instructions with little or no supervision
2. minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent, education and training are "equivalent" based on his/her experience
3. knowledge of production processes, quality control and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution goods
4. a self-starter and able to complete tasks with a minimum of guidance
5. must be detail oriented, organized and ability to multi-task
6. interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written
7. assign priorities and resolve conflicts within daily routine tasks
8. must be able to read, write, and speak English
9. must have valid certification to operate forklift and overhead crane
