About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Assembly Technician to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling units and sub-assemblies using standardized methods, tools, and fixtures. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow precise instructions to ensure the quality and accuracy of each product.
- Assemble units and sub-assemblies using prescribed methods, fixtures, and power bench tools.
- Read and interpret drawings, templates, and instructions to ensure accuracy.
- Perform simple fitting, adjustments, and machine operations as required.
- Use gauges, measuring instruments, and inspection tools to verify parts meet specifications.
- Identify and report defective or non-conforming parts.
- Maintain setups and follow safety and quality standards consistently.
- Operate small floor or bench machines to complete machining operations.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, crouching, kneeling, pushing/pulling, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
- Engage in repetitive motions as part of the assembly process.
- Support additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Ability to read and use measuring instruments and gauges.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
- Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is a plus but not required.
