Manufacturing Laboratory Technician

AluChem, Inc. is currently hiring Lab Technicians for:

2nd Shift: 3:30 pm-11:30 pm

3rd Shift: 11:30 pm-7 am

Location: Reading, Ohio

Pay: $20.50/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday with weekend rotation

What You’ll Do

- Perform physical and chemical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products

- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment (e.g., XRF, particle size analyzers, pH meters)

- Accurately document and interpret test results and communicate findings to production and engineering teams

- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and quality protocols

- Assist with inventory and ordering of lab supplies

- Support special projects and product development efforts as needed

What You Bring

- HS Diploma or equivalent

- Associate degree preferred

- Experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, or quality control setting

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and lab software systems

- Commitment to safety and a willingness to learn
