Luff Industries is currently accepting resumes for Journeyman Welders and Experienced 3rd‑Year Welding Apprentices to join our growing manufacturing team.

Welders are a key part of our production team and play a critical role in the fabrication of parts and components used in our products and for our customers.
- Following all safety rules and procedures, with a strong focus on maintaining a positive and proactive safety culture
- Following documented Quality Work Procedures (QWPs) to ensure products meet established standards
- Joining, fabricating, and repairing metal and other weldable materials using appropriate welding techniques
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, diagrams, and schematics
- Assisting with installation, repair, and maintenance work using acetylene and/or electric arc welding equipment
- Supporting production and continuous improvement initiatives as required
- Working with the Quality team on projects including research and development, product autopsies, and quality documentation
- Communicating quality concerns and helping educate team members when defects are identified to prevent recurrence
- Performing other duties as required to support the success of the business
Applicants will bring the following education, skills, and experience:
- Journeyman Welder, or Registered 3rd‑Year Welding Apprentice with strong hands‑on experience
- Proficiency in welding processes such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding
- Experience fabricating metal structures and components to specification
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of metalworking processes
- Experience operating press brake machines for bending and shaping metal
- Ability to perform basic math for measurements and dimensions
- Experience safely rigging and handling materials using cranes
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards or experience working in an ISO‑certified environment
