Position Summary:

The Shop Hand is responsible for providing general support to the production team by performing various tasks that ensure the smooth operation of the shop. This role includes assisting with material handling, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and supporting fabrication and assembly processes as needed. The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, and eager to learn new skills in a manufacturing setting.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a manufacturing or shop environment is preferred but not required.

- Basic knowledge of hand tools and shop equipment.

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor for extended periods.

- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.

- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

Working Conditions:

- This position requires working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and equipment operation.

- Prolonged standing, bending, and lifting will be required.
