Applications Specialist

The Doe Run Company is seeking a Applications Specialist who will be responsible for configuration and support of enterprise applications and legacy systems which includes development and integration with the goal of 99.9% availability and support the SharePoint environment and provide development support as needed. This position is based out of our Central Office in Viburnum, MO.

This position offers a competitive base pay and is eligible for the Company variable pay (bonus) plan. Benefits start first day and include insurance, paid time off, and various customer discount programs.

Education & Experience:

- High school diploma or equivalent and minimum 2 years of experience in an IT-related field. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or an IT-related field, and minimum 1 year of experience developing in .NET Application Framework, preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

- Basic computer skills, Microsoft, SharePoint, Power Platform, Java Script, HTML/CSS, and .NET Application Framework (C# and Visual Basic).

- Basic organization, problem solving, analytics and, decision making skills.

- Basic understanding of change control best practices.

- Basic knowledge of business analysis and requirement gathering to support projects.

- Ability to work well with others and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

- Computer, tablet, phone, printers.

- Work is generally performed in a standard office setting. Regularly exposed to office noises in a standard office setting.

- Regularly required to sit for extended periods of time, and to talk and hear; frequently required to stand, walk, and perform repetitive movement. Requires clarity of vision at 20 inches or less, three-dimensional vision, and the ability to identify and distinguish colors.

- May be required to lift up to 15 pounds.
