Reporting into AltaGas’s Midstream Division, the Scheduling Analyst will support the vessel exports, rail, and trucking logistics team and will be primarily responsible for ensuring accurate and timely scheduling of vessels and rail cars in Allegro, AltaGas's ETRM system.
- Work collaboratively with the commercial and logistics teams to ensure vessel, rail and truck transactions are scheduled in Allegro (ETRM) daily
- Ensure positions are ready to be actualized and settled/invoiced by the Accounting team based on third-party statements, BOLs, or best available information
- Ensure Allegro positions are accurate, including planned, forecasted, nominated, and actual volumes through a daily reconciliation process
- Ensure timely and accurate entry of all deals into Allegro
- Support & resolve daily risk reporting discrepancies and support end-of-day (EOD) sign-off activities
- Continually evaluating the Allegro process to identify efficiencies and create optimizations
- Provide issue resolution to support settlement/invoicing, liaising between Accounting, Logistics, and Commercial
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience with Allegro would be an asset
- Strong attention to detail, proven ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet critical deadlines
- Superior oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Motivated individual able to work independently and as a team player
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Economics, Finance or related
