PRIMARY PURPOSE ANALYST-FINANCIAL SYSTEMS, SR:
This position is part of the Accounting Department’s Oracle EPM team, working closely with multiple business teams and IT to enhance the organization’s financial reporting capabilities within EPM and provide overall support of the Oracle Cloud application.
ANALYST-FINANCIAL SYSTEMS, SR. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Provide subject matter expertise on Oracle EPM modules in use at Tallgrass (FCCS, EPBCS, ARCS, EDM).
•Manage ERP/EPM interface with other departments, including Financial Reporting, Corporate Accounting, HR, IT, Projects, Procurement, Operational Accounting, and promote proactive approaches and best practices to solve business needs/problems, while also enhancing the understanding and acceptance of system capabilities.
•Participate in the execution and delivery of small- and large-scale initiatives.
•Participates in strategic business planning with business units and IT to formulate enhancement options to address specific functional issues / requirements.
•Monitor daily data integration jobs that move data from ERP to EPM as well as between EPM modules.
•Provision new users within EPM as well as monitor ongoing access requirements.
•Provide the first layer of support for EPM issues prior to escalating to Oracle or consulting partner as needed.
•Configure application components including reconciliations, reports, security, and process management modules.
•Manage integrations and data quality processes (validations, mappings, transformations).
•Provide timely updates related to EPM functionality and assist with implementing, developing, and executing test scripts and updates.
•Develop and maintain relations with 3rd party support and vendors.
•Assist and participate in internal control testing.
•Assist with internal process improvements.
•Through financial systems, support business needs surrounding the monthly close process, planning and forecasting, quarterly/annual financial statements and audits.
•Act as a liaison between finance, IT, and other relevant departments to ensure financial systems meet the needs of users and comply with financial controls.
•Develop and maintain clear and concise functional and technical EPM documentation, procedures, and training materials.
•Assist with ad hoc projects as needed.
•Results-oriented, able to anticipate change and respond to client priorities, demonstrating a “can do” attitude.
•Develop commercial and technical understanding of Tallgrass physical assets, products and services.
•Work with internal departments to accomplish individual, departmental and company goals.
•Offer assistance and act as a resource/mentor to the accounting organization when needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS ANALYST-FINANCIAL SYSTEMS, SR.:
Education :
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

Experience/Specific Knowledge:
•A minimum of 4 years of experience with Oracle EPM
•Experience with some of the following Oracle Financials Cloud modules is a plus: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Procurement, and Fixed Assets.
•In depth understanding of Oracle modules, configurations, and integrations points.
•Experience with one or more Oracle reporting tools such as SmartView, Oracle Analytics, Narrative Reporting, OTBI, BI Publisher, or Financial Reporting preferred.
Experience & creativity in troubleshooting data conversions, integrations, and/or software application problems.

Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers (for travel).

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Above the minimum requirements; not required but advantageous in this position:
•Knowledge of FERC Regulations is a plus.
•Prior experience with Oil & Gas industry.
Compensation:
•The annual salary range for this position will be $85,000-$129,000/yr.
