AltaGas - Analyst, Data Integration & Solutions

Reporting to the Lead, Midstream Applications, the Analyst, Data Integration and Solutions plays a key role in developing, maintaining, and enhancing data integration solutions that enable reliable and scalable data systems. This position supports Power Platform development—including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI—while assisting with PI system operations and empowering business users with data-driven tools and insights.

You will:

- Build and maintain Power Apps and Power Automate workflows to streamline business processes.

- Develop Power BI reports using DAX and Power Query to support operational and strategic decision-making.

- Utilize Dataverse for secure data management within Power Platform solutions.

- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and iterate on solutions.

- Assist in developing and maintaining data pipelines connecting PI and enterprise platforms.

- Monitor data flows and escalate issues to ensure continuity.

- Document integration processes and contribute to knowledge sharing.

- Support PI Vision dashboards and basic PI System maintenance tasks.

- Perform routine checks and assist in troubleshooting under guidance.

- Follow established data governance and cybersecurity practices.

- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to solution design.

- Work closely with the Lead and team members to build knowledge of systems and processes.

- Share learnings and support onboarding of new associates when applicable.

You have:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).

- 2–4 years in data systems, preferably with exposure to PI System and Power Platform.

- Experience developing Power BI reports, Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, and working with Dataverse.

- Familiarity with SQL, data visualization, and integration concepts.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with moderate guidance.

- Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts in straightforward situations.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform and basic understanding of data governance principles.

- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced technical environment.

- AVEVA PI System training and Microsoft Power Platform certifications (Asset).
