Hours: Weekdays, 8am – 5pm; 40 hrs a week
Experience: Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred in a field such as Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science OR 2-3 years experience in data entry/analysis; high proficiency with Excel
Job Description: Essential duties include the following:
- Perform basic data quality checks to identify missing information, inconsistencies, and common errors and provide clear, concise feedback to Field Managers and Report Valets when data issues are found and help track corrections, taking on the role of Report Reviewer.
- Enter and organize testing and project data from Microsoft Excel and other sources into company databases and reporting tools (e.g., Microsoft Access-based systems).
- Support the development and refinement of standardized data entry procedures, templates, and checklists.
- Create USEPA reports, including using Electronic Reporting Tool and ECMPS.
- Facilitate transition of current XML system to a JSON format.
- Communication: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and team members.
- Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to adapt and problem solve in new situations.
- Technology: High Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, database entry in Access. JSON programming knowledge preferred.
- Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
