We're currently hiring an Administrative Clerk 1 for 1st shift starting at 7:00am Monday-Friday (occasional overtime).

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Will act as a lead person who provides advice or assistance to supervisor. Capable of safe operations and training of other employees on every procedure and piece of equipment in area of responsibility. Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of their assigned area, assist in other areas as appropriate. Will conduct spot checks of finished goods to verify compliance with specifications. Will fill in as needed in line positions to support production demands. Assists Production Supervisor with accident investigations and corrective action reports. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members, provide guidance to trainees. Use good judgment and common sense while performing duties.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Generate PQ’s and follow up on PO Conversions with appropriate individual

Input and maintain data and distribute work orders for the PMC program
Make sure all Maintenance purchase orders are received and proper documentation turned into Finance.
Tracks Visitors and Temporary employees per Defense plan
Input and maintain schedule for preventative maintenance program
Runs monthly down time reports for Navision
Orders and maintain office supplies
Maintain and organize SQF documentation
Determine work has been completed, obtain approvals to pay and submit to accounts payable with proper documentation for timely payment.
Assist with temp and direct hire orientations (company policies, training videos, tour, etc).
Answer incoming calls and direct wherever needed.
Assist with other projects related duties
Attend department and company required trainings.
Perform other duties as assigned.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Solid knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel, ability to learn both Navision and PMC. Demonstrated ability to successfully use budgeting techniques. Ability to successfully contribute and participate as an important part of the maintenance team/SQF team. Knowledge in parts and Inventory Control System, Purchasing and Basic Accounting practices


Education and Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or GED preferred. 1-2 years related experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment, with occasional activity performed in a warehouse type atmosphere where the temperature is approximately 32 degrees. Requires the ability to stand, walk, climb stairs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30lbs. Requires sitting, operating a computer keyboard, telephone and other equipment for extended periods of time.
