We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team at Kawartha Metals Corp in Peterborough, ON. The functional role of the Administrative Assistant is to assist the Credit Manager with the company’s accounting processes and supporting the Sales team. From creating customer invoices, reconciling monthly credit cards, and sending mill test reports. While also providing excellent customer service to our customers by answering the phones and performing general office duties.
- Daily invoicing of customer orders
- Entering in Mill Test Reports when we have received material and sending to customers as required.
- Reconcile monthly credit cards
- Create customer credits as needed
- Perform general office duties such as answer and screen calls, direct calls to the proper individual, greet visitors, file documents electronically and manually, photocopy and distribute material as requested, send and receive fax and emails.
- Help coordinate annual inventory - creating product sheets, preparing inventory binder and adjusting inventory in the system as needed.
- Back up other administrative staff when on vacation: AR, AP, etc.
- Other duties as assigned by Management.
- Excellent communication skills, detail oriented, and adaptable
- Ability to function well in high paced and at times stressful environment
- Computer and Microsoft Suites experience required
- Two to Three years' experience in administrative role an asset
